I found this pattern on the web and I immediately wanted to make one!
A rug, made with cotton yarn....
I had to try...
This project is very easy, and still quite fast. It is knitted with a pair of needle 9mm and four strands of cotton together. It is made mostly with rice stitch. A small border at each end is in jersey.
This project cost me thirty dollars. Cheap for hours of fun and pleasure of having a rug made of my hands!
I have now a soft and confortable rug in my bathroom .....

The pattern is from Bernat and you can download it HERE. Simply register to download a choice of free patterns. You have a choice between three languages: English, French and Spanish.
I bought cotton on the Canadian site Mary Maxim. I love to buy my wool on internet; much choice, no need to run around to find what you want ... Anyway ... the "Handicrafter" cotton is HERE. I did my project with the color "Denim Twist".
You can also ask the Mary Maxim catalog HERE and receive at home to order by mail if you prefer.
Happy knitting!
