My Review: This book is about making your home yours. Maybe you have moved into an existing home that leaves behind the previous owner's tastes, or maybe you have outgrown your current decor style, or in my case, you want to put your home on the market and do some updating for a better "wow" factor. If any of these scenarios sound like you, then this book is for you!

Money-Wise Makeovers offers do-able ideas that are budget friendly. I love how this book is divided into 6 main chapters: Living Spaces, Dining/Eating Nooks, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, & Curb Appeal/Outdoor Spaces. Each of these sections then has case studies that list materials used, time involved and costs. I like it when an author gives this level of detail.

The photographs in this book are fresh and realistic. I especially enjoyed the before/after floor plan drawings. This book has the right amount of detail, money-wise tips, illustrated guides and creative pictures. I recommend reading Money-Wise Makeovers before the first wall comes down or new cabinets go up.
