...and pretty little fairy princesses - you can't get much more girly than fairy princesses!
...i was looking at these little mosaics before i posted them and couldn't help thinking that they don't look like tons of work! but... they do represent nine little t-shirts that have embroideries on both the back and front, and these are just some of my favourite details. sometimes it takes longer to come up with the ideas and motifs than it does to applique and embroider them. the latter is the best bit - choosing the fabrics, colours, threads, beads and sequins, then pulling them all together to make something cute and pretty. it's why i love starting new things and get annoyed with stuff that takes too long to finish - something that i'm always doing with my knitting and crochet stuff!
...anyway, i was hoping to show off what i was working on yesterday and the haul of yummy-ness i picked up today, but by the time i got my bum into gear the light had gone so it will have to wait until tomorrow. i've got a few things i need to get done before the day is over so until then...
