The promised yummy-ness...

...well, what else could it be other than yummy yarn?

...these two piles are just for me :) i've a new found fondness for teal and bluey-grey tones because of a project i've been working on lately - i can't wait to tell you about it, very exciting (for me at least!), but that will have to wait until the new year. the two balls on the left are rowan kidsilk haze and are destined to be a lacy scarf - a pattern that i've made up a few times for others, all of who said it was lovely and warm to wear, so i think it's high time i had one of my own ;)

...and this not so little lot, all rejected and unloved because they got tangled or were the last of their dye lot :( what else could i do but give them a good home? i have lots of plans for these too but that will also have to wait until the new year...

...and while i was having such a good day i thought i would try the charity shops again - i had to stop myself at another five cones! by the time i got home i was starting to look a bit like a pack horse - i only went out to pick up two skeins of white embroidery thread!!!

...then yesterday i had the joy of rummaging through it all again to photograph it, with the aid of my little helper...

...calling him a little helper is probably pushing the truth a wee bit as he kept trying to steal the limelight!
