...look what i found today...
...tons of yummy yarn! - it's been such a long time since i've browsed the charity shops or gone 'thrifting'. for a while i've been on a mission to destash and get rid of all the 'maybe one day' stuff - remember that pile of stuff i mentioned the other day ;) most of that was recycled or went back to the charity shops, but some i kept aside - maybe for a swap thingy some time in the new year?
...i have no idea what the fibre content of these is, i'll have to brush up on my burn test knowledge. the olive and plum cones are dk and feel like there may be a touch of cotton in them? the others are all lace weight 2ply and most likely acrylic, as soon as i saw these i was thinking wispy lace scarves, or maybe plying them together to create ombre effects...
...but first they are destined for the freezer just in case the fibre content is a little more delicate, the last thing i want is a moth or yarn eating bug invasion!
