Firstly to today's palette, when I saw all of these lovely images over in my Flickr favourites this morning I felt instantly drawn to their whispery softness. Colours that are barely there, almost beyond pastels shades to those non-colours. They have such a subtlety that if you didn't stop to look you might not see their beauty at all. They also give me a real sense of reassurance but I can't figure why... maybe that is just something I need today?
Secondly I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who left such kind and enthusiastic comments about my new 'festive flower charms'. I'm so thrilled with them myself and to know that you love them too, well that just makes my week really... :)
Lastly, we are having a balmy five degrees of heat here today, I know, tropical... ;) So not only is all the snow and ice slowly melting away but the procrastination seems to be going with it, phew! Since yesterday I have packed up and posted the parcels for the ornament swap, made the first batch of this years christmas cards (more about them next week), started work on a custom garland order, done a wee spot of yarn shopping and scored myself another vintage glass vase (in a yummy mustard colour) from my favourite charity shop ~ woo-hoo! Now I just need to keep that momentum going and not get distracted as has been happening recently... !
A very happy Friday to you all... :)
Emma, x
