Yes, we do love Fridays! That's pretty normal though. I recall breathing a sigh of relief on Friday afternoons in my old job... almost tasting the weekend! Although we now work for ourselves, we still like to think of our weekends as weekends. It means no post office runs, it means markets, and drinking champers in the backyard (yes, it's warm and spring here in Australia - halleluuyah to that!) and just generally having the laziest mornings we can possibly think of. Right now I'm in that "almost tasting the weekend" mode... and it would not be Friday without some Funkadelic (my favourite is "America Eats Its Young") and a little snippet of well, stuff around our house.
In the collage above from left to right - all the tins we've bought since we've lived here in the Grampians. From local weekend markets and op shops. It's my latest fascination. I like the look, and the feel of tin. In the middle, a shape I have done nothing with, and it may remain so... who knows, and on the end, a small snippet of our lounge mantle. It's chockers full of art, frames, candles, and figurines right now. This is the neatest part of it. That's something I may work on this weekend - reducing clutter. I'm in one of my minimal moods. Well, that's enough from me for now. From the both of us, have a rad weekend, and see you all soon. K. :)
A quick update, and thank you to Deanna. We did an interview on deannamaree.com about handmade and inaluxe. Definately check out the site - it's ace-ness all over. Thank you Deanna! :)
