BBQ Beef Riblets
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T veg. oil
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup A1 Original or Bold & Spicy
1/4 cup chili sauce
2 T firmly packed light brown sugar
2 thin slices fresh lemon
1/2 t liquid hot pepper seasoning
2 1/2 lbs beef ribs, cut into 2" pieces*
*I have my butcher cut up beef ribs for me in 2" little sections.
BBQ Sauce: In a medium saucepan, over low heat, cook garlic in oil until tender. Stir in ketchup, steak sauce, chili sauce, sugar, lemon and hot pepper seasoning sauce; cook 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Reserve 2/3 cup for serving with cooked ribs. Set aside remaining sauce for basting ribs.
Arrange ribs on rack in large roasting pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Brush ribs generously with 1/4 cup basting sauce. Grill ribs over medium heat or broil 6" from heat source 20-25 minutes or until ribs are tender, turning and basting often with remaining sauce. Serve with reserved 2/3 cup sauce. Garnish as desired.
Makes 8 appetizer servings.
If you make nothing but the BBQ sauce, I promise you will not be disappointed. This is the best BBQ sauce recipe ever, ever, ever, ever!
Enjoy!
XOXO
